Information for ETICA PRO EXPERT Authors

Authors of papers published under a Creative Commons license may reuse their work under the terms of the Creative Commons license attached to their article. Authors of papers published with a non-commercial (NC) or no derivatives (ND) specification may also reuse their work as stated.

Creative Commons license terms for reuse do not apply to any content (such as graphs, figures, photos, excerpts, etc.) not original to the Open Access article and further permission may be required from the rights holder. The obligation to research and clear permission lies solely with the party reusing the material.

We strongly recommend users notify the original author(s) of their intention to distribute, adapt, translate or republish Open Access content.

Authors who publish with ETICA PRO EXPERT agree to the following terms:

Authors retain copyright and grant this journal right of first publication, with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License https://creativecommons.org/licenses/ that allows others to share the work, with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.

Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in ETICA PRO EXPERT .

Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) prior to and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges, as well as an earlier and greater citation of published work.

Additionally, this license does not allow for commercial use of the work. Commercial use means use of the content by a commercial organisation or individual for direct (including through sale, loan or license) or indirect (including through marketing campaigns, promotional materials or presentations) commercial gain or remuneration. To create an adaptation, translation, or derivative of the original work, further permission is required and can be obtained by contacting the Permissions department.

Embedded licenses

Starting with 2022, ETICA PRO EXPERT Publishing is embedding Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs license in both metadata and PDF version in the published articles

In submitting a manuscript to a ETICA PRO EXPERT journal, an author represents that all included materials are the author’s own work unless clearly otherwise identified.

To avoid any potential issues with plagiarism (e.g., representing someone else’s work or ideas as one’s own) or copyright infringement (e.g., violating the exclusive copyright rights of another) or any other violation of the rights of other parties (including, but not limited to, personal rights, an expectation of privacy, or other confidentiality requirement), authors should clearly identify any third-party materials and their respective rights holders in their submissions.
